Review a provider
Use a provider connection to record your mosque's own decision. Kadim shows what the provider chose to share, who made your local decision and when it must be reviewed again. Kadim does not approve or endorse the provider.
Before you decide
The provider must first accept your connection request and choose which current evidence to share. Open Connections, then choose the provider you want to review.
Check:
- the provider's trading name and services;
- the status and expiry date of each shared evidence item;
- whether the evidence is relevant to the work your mosque expects; and
- any checks your mosque still needs to complete outside Kadim.
Approve or decline locally
To approve the provider for your mosque:
- Select every shared evidence item you relied on.
- Set the next review date.
- Record whether you reviewed the provider's reusable history.
- Select Approve locally.
The approval applies only to your mosque. It does not change the provider's global profile or another mosque's decision.
To decline, select Decline locally. Kadim does not ask for a reason. A decline is a local decision and is not published to the provider or other organisations.
Keep private working records
Add a contract reference, rate note or private note under Add a private mosque record. At least one field is required. These records stay with your mosque and never enter the provider's profile, reusable history or product events.
Each addition is a new audit entry. Earlier entries are not overwritten.
When something changes
The connection shows Action required if a relied-on control needs attention. The historical decision remains visible so trustees can see what was decided at the time.
Use Suspend connection when work should pause but the relationship may continue later. Use End connection when the relationship has finished. Both actions keep the audit history; an ended connection cannot be resumed from this page.
